Fortnite Winterfest Presents – How to Get Free Daily Gifts

The Fortnite Winterfest event has officially kicked off, and it’s offering players 14 days worth of free gifts along with a handful of challenges. Figuring out how to unlock the Fortnite

Winterfest presents is pretty simple, but we are going to go over it just in case. All of the Fortnite Winterfest presents are free to everyone, and it won’t cost players anything. To get the free daily gifts, you’ll need to visit the Lodge — a new location that can be found on the home screen.

Specifically, players will be able to visit the Lodge by navigating to the snowflake tab on the main battle royale screen. From there, you’ll be able to enter the lodge and choose from the available presents.

At the time of writing, there seems to be only one present that cannot be opened (the big one in the back!) It’s currently unclear what this Winterfest present is, but most believe it’s a skin that Epic wants to save until later.

However, all of the other Fortnite Winterfest presents appear to be fair game. While Epic hasn’t revealed all of the free daily gifts, players have been given small hints about what to expect.

Further, players will be able to open one Fortnite present every day. If you have to miss a day, don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit the Lodge until January 7 to open up any presents that you’ve missed.

According to Epic, the following items are available in the gifts:

  • Outfits (2)
  • Pickaxes (2)
  • Wraps (2)
  • Emote (1)

Since there are only seven things listed above, this means that there are also seven surprises within the daily gifts. Unfortunately, we will have to wait and see what those presents are going to be.

In the meantime, Epic is also releasing a new daily Winterfest challenge every day until January 6. Be sure to keep your eye on our Fortnite guide hub for help with these challenges.
Epic and Disney recently teamed up to hold a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in-game event — be sure to check out the new clip that was debuted in the game in the video above. Further, Ninja and Mark Hamill have announced that they are teaming up for a stream later this week.
