Destiny 2’s Crimson Days event is back once again from February 11-18, in a seeming celebration of Valentine’s day. The event is free for all players of Destiny 2, and we’ve laid out the details below on how to earn rewards like Confectionary Hearts, get bounties from Lord Shaxx, and where you can find Crimson Days-themed Triumphs.
How to Participate in Crimson Days
Although the event is free for all Destiny 2 players, anyone new to the game must complete two requirements before speaking to Lord Shaxx and starting the event.
- Escaping the Cosmodrome to unlock the Tower
- Achieving 790 Power
Bungie noted any characters created before New Light do not have to hit the 790 Power for the event Milestone.[ignvideo url=”https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/02/11/destiny-2-shadowkeep-crimson-days-trailer”]
Crimson Days Rewards and Bounties
Lord Shaxx is your point person for all things Crimson Days. Speak with him to pick up event bounties and rewards – he will first give you the Fire of the Crimson Days emblem, and then you can continue with the event.
There are 2 weekly bounties and 4 daily bounties for players to get, which are rewarded with Double XP, Bright Dust, and Confectionary Hearts.
Confectionary Hearts are how rewards come into play, which you earn through completing bounties and Crucible matches in the Crimson Days Double Playlist.
- Tirastrella Ghost Shell – Legendary
- Undeterred Sparrow – Exotic
- The Vow Bow – Legendary
- Dieselpunk Ornament – Exotic
- SVC-12 Sparrow – Exotic
- IVC-10 Sparrow – Exotic

Crimson Doubles in Crucible
Guardians are able to fight together in Crucible matches this week for rewards, that will have them either come out as partners in victory or both be conquered. Features for the Crimson Doubles Playlist are below:
- Reunited: Increases the rate of a Guardian’s abilities to be recharged within teammates who are physically near one another.
- Falling Apart: When teammates fall too far apart in the match, the enemies are able to see your location.
- Vengeance: When a player is taken down in combat, this feature helps their partner have increased regeneration for their abilities and gains some health back when attacked.
Triumphs: From Heartless to Loving
There are a total of 10 triumphs available only to complete until February 18 – and they all have a spark of love or sorrow to them. The titles are as follows and can be found in your Triumphs character menu > Seasonal node > Events > Crimson Days.
- Labor of Love
- I’m with You
- Looking for Love
- Heart’s Desire
- Love Conquers All
- Divide and Conquer
- Love Avenged
