Where to Land in Fortnite Chapter 2
This is one of the best places to land in Fortnite for three different reasons. For starters, there is simply tons of cover from enemies because its located deep in the woods. Second, there are tons of different buildings and areas to explore and loot to be found. And third, if you sit in the water, you’ll gain shield points! By the time you leave, you should be more than prepared to get a victory royale.
If you’re a fan of fishing, you may want to consider dropping at Misty Meadows. The large town is built along the main lake with a river running through it, so there will be plenty of spots to cast a line. Further, the area is divided into two sections by the river, so even if another player is there, you should have plenty of time by yourself to gather up some loot before you meet face to face.
We had to put Pleasant Park on this list, simply because it’s the oldest named location in the game, introduced in Season 1 (along with Salty Springs). However, there is also tons of good loot to be found here, as there are a bunch of different buildings to explore. Although be advised, if you land here, you probably won’t be alone, as many others also think it’s one of the best places to land in Fortnite Chapter 2.
This is another great spot for those who like to fish, as it’s along the eastern shore. Like a typical dockyard, there are tons of storage containers filled with hidden treasures to get you started. Additionally, if you like to farm materials, you should be able to get more than enough steel here to make it through the match.
This is one of the most unique spots on the Chapter 2 map, as it’s completely underground. Not only is it isolated from the rest of the map, but it’s one of the new locations in Chapter 2: Season 2 and is filled with tons of great loot. However, you’ll need to be careful because it’s patrolled by Henchmen and a Mini Boss who won’t hand over their armory without a fight.
Isolated from the island, the Yacht is docked a few meters from shore. We like to land here because there is a lot of a loot and its a confined area. So, if other players are landing with you, you’ll be able to keep an eye on them as you land, knowing they can’t run too far. Further, there is also tons of great guarded loot here.
Located among a bunch of other islands in the northwest corner of the map, The Shark gives us serious reminders of Tony Stark’s home in the Iron Man movies. It overlooks the ocean and has tons of expensive decorations. However, the Shark does have one thing on Tony Stark – it has a cool underground cave area with a secret water entrance.
The Rig was at it’s prime at the launch of Chapter 2, but after the explosion in Chapter 2: Season 2 it’s not quite the same – but it’s still pretty good. There are tons of different buildings to explore and chests to open, but they’re closely guarded by TNTina, whose explosive bow and arrow is no joke. However, if you can take her down and get into the Vault, you’ll be looking at a really good setup for the round.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but the Agency is sort of like the new Tilted Towers – remember that place? It’s located in the dead center of the map and has tons of different rooms, floors, and vents to explore. Oh – and it’s guarded by Midas who has the key to the Vault and a golden Drum Gun. You won’t be alone if you decide to land here, as most agree that it is one of, if not the best place to land in Fortnite Chapter 2.
